Wild Cat Feeding Station, Coral Bay

Cat Feeding Station Project, Coral Bay

The Cats Me-Wow!

Finished!

The cats jump into the house through a small hole in the floor from below. Volunteers refill water and food from a small door in the front of the station.

A local veterinarian started asking volunteers to build and maintain cat feeding stations all over the island in hopes to help with St. John's ferrel cat problem. This station is maintained by our friend Susan right here in Coral Bay. The cats are fed and watered daily and several times a month new cats to the station are live trapped and brought to the veterinarian to be spayed/neutered and then set free.
